New job and 1 year anniversary of Lady's passing.

I haven't forgotten my wonderful friends on here. I have started a new job as a server and I am really picking up hours.  I am thinking Whiskers is stressed from this actually, which I hate. She has peed elsewhere since I took this job. I had to. I could use advice on this please.   The pets are thriving though, mommy is now able to buy special goodies for them with my tip money.  They are loving the cooler temps as I am.

Sadly, this weekend will be first anniversary of Lady's passing. We still miss you, the cats do too.  Tigger was her pal.  Lady, I am sure you showed Admiral and the other cats whom have made their way to Rainbow Bridge. We love you xoxoxoxoxox

Lady is a sweet greeter at the Bridge and we send you hugs. As far as the pee thing goes, it is always wise to rule out any medical condition first. Perhaps some Feliway difusers might help calm the situation.

Hi! I'm sorry about Lady. I agree with Brian on ruling out a medical cause, especially if she is peeing very frequently. I hope you are able to resolve that. Great to see you!

I'll just bet Lady welcomed my gran-dog, Japita at the bridge last night.

We are sending you soft purrs and prayers of comfort, on this the anniversary of Lady's passing. We agree with the advice that our pal Brian gave. Or maybe you could try a calming collar.

Hmm, I wonder if Grayson saw Lady up there? Good luck with the peeing thing. Wish I had some words of wisdom or pointers for you.

I agree with what Brian said. When they start peeing elsewhere, it's best to rule out any Medical Condition...like a bladder infection or something else. our cat was doing that, and we found out it was a bladder infection. It could be nothing. But best to have it checked if it continues.

We miss them when they leave, no matter how long they're gone. Purrs and pawhugs.

Sending you purrs. Separation anxiety and depression are common when there is a change in the household such as yours, and it is possible the peeing is a result of that. If no medical problems are found, I would try Feliway and perhaps even leave the television on while you're gone, or provide a safe toy such as a food dispensing one.

This is only making it into my Google Reader today. I'm not impressed.

Thinking of you this weekend, the boys are sending purrs. I know it's taken me about a year and a half to really put Annie's passing behind me, so I understand.

RE: the pee issue: Yes, rule out cystitis or a UTI, something like that, first. Feliway is an option, so is Zylkene (natural calming product available at the vet, I get it for Derry), or the Vetri-Science Composure treats (or Pet Naturals Calming Treats--same thing, different company, also different dose). Derry gets the calming treats (either brand) every day too, cut up because they're too big for him to chew (only a few teeth).

I love that Lady showed my baby girl Admiral around last Dec when she got to the Bridge. XXXOOO to Lady. admiral knows and will give her those kisses from us.

Time for a trip to the vet though for your furbaby as she isn't doing that for any good reason. Let us know please. Xoxox
